Ooh la la! Paris!

Inspiration for our designs comes from many different sources. We love to travel and experiencing different cultures is an amazing way to get the creative juices flowing!

One of our most popular geometric textile designs, 'd'Orsay', was inspired by a visit to the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. In my opinion it is one of the most stunning Museums in Paris. It is exceptional not only for the superb exhibitions but also the architecture in the main hall, originally the Orsay train station. Built for the Universal exhibition of 1900 in the Beaux-Arts style, the stunning arches provided the perfect starting point for a print design.

Below are just a few of the initial drawings and mood boards that inspired the final textile print design.
